Cynthia Lombardo, representing non-public school teachers, is an eighth grade teacher and
assistant administrator at Saint Brigid of Kildare School in Dublin.
Lombardo teaches theology classes at Saint Brigid; has served at Saint Brigid since its opening in
1996 and in the Diocese of Columbus since 1984; has completed 26 years as a professional educator in
many grade levels and content areas; successfully completed the U.S. Department of Education Blue
Ribbon School process for her school in 2008; chairs her school's OCSAA accrediting committee; works
with professional development programs for teachers; and has served on various local and diocesan
committees.
She was honored as the Distinguished Teacher of the Year in the Ohio-Michigan region by the National
Catholic Educational Association in 1998.
Lombardo holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Dayton and a
Master's Degree in Theology from Ohio Dominican University.
