Debbie O'Malley, representing the Parents, is Director of Education for Ohio PTA. She is a secretary in an Elementary School in Parma that is ranked as an Excellent with Distinction school for 3 consecutive years. She has served on building and district level committees regarding curriculum, report cards, continuous improvement, and discipline.

She has served as a representative on behalf of parents in several capacities including serving on the National Council of States Legislative Conference in Washington DC. She is active and holds memberships in the building, district and state level PTAs.

O'Malley continues to serve on Common Core State Standards Initiative (CCSSI), Ohio Teacher of the Year Selection Panel, Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) and Milken Blue Ribbon Panel Review committees. She has been an advocate for Ohio's children and parents for over 18 years.
