Tamra Stokes Tamra Stokes, representing public school elementary teachers, is a fourth grade teacher at Chestnut Elementary in Painesville, OH. Stokes is in her seventh year of teaching.

Stokes holds a bachelor's degree from Springfield College in Sports Biology and a Master's Degree from Kent State University in Exercise Physiology. Stokes also earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Indiana University-Bloomington and has earned her Reading Endorsement.

She is a building representative; serves on the regional (NEOEA) Professional Development Committee; Chairperson for the Minority Concerns Committee; member of OEA Core Functioning Committee, Professional Efficacy, member of the Advisory Committee for the Ohio Academic Content Standards Mathematics revision.
